Dominic's Family

We went to Cleveland this past weekend to visit with Dominic's family. His brother was in town and we had a nice, relaxing weekend. Always nice to spend time with family. Of course, I had my handy dandy camera charged up and insisted they gather for a family photo. Giana and Dominic will be happy to have it some day. Say cheese!

A Little of This and That

I love being a stay at home mom. There are no words to express how grateful I am that I can stay home to raise our children, play with them, see every new experience and have tons of fun. Most days are pretty awesome and the days that are rough, I try to remind myself how blessed I am. So very blessed.

We've been busy and here are some fun things that we've been up to lately...Skyzone, indoor swimming, playdates, Little Gym show week, sledding at Grandma and PaPa's, sleepovers with Mom-Mom, crafts, Americheer (see Cindy's blog), cooking and baking (Giana made the pizza and brownies for Dominic), picking up Aunt Dee Dee's new car (Giana was thrilled to be her first passenger) and just a few days ago, we had one nice day so we played outside. Giana insisted that we "water the tree so that it will be big enough by summer time to hang a tire swing." I hate to be the bearer of bad news...

Big Girl Bed

We finally talked Giana into giving up her Tinkerbell toddler bed since she was getting too big for it. She now uses it in her playroom for her baby dolls and loves her new "big girl bed."

Dorothy Turns Two!

Two years...same gold fish. Dorothy deserves a shout-out! Happy birthday, "Dorth!"

Valentine's Day 2011

Love is in the air and we had a Happy Valentine's day. Lots of candy, balloons and fun. Dominic hosted a Valentine's Day Craft and Breakfast at his hotel for the Mom's Club. I wish I had a picture of the room...it was so cute! (Thank you, Dominic. I love you!) Giana loved the Valentine's from her classmates, too. So much fun going through them with her. She liked Boston's the best. Boston is the class trouble maker. UGH! I've got to keep her away from the "bad boys." :)

And of course there is my tiny Valentine, Dominic. He is the cutest, sweetest, most precious little boy EVER!

More Christmas Pictures

Our babies on Christmas Eve before mass.

Santa (aka my Mom's neighbor) came to Dominic's hotel. I set it up for the Mom's Club and Dominic was kind enough to give us a free meeting room and yummy treats!

Cousin Fun! Sophia, Dominic, Nathan, Lauren, Katie, Giana and Luke

Norad tracks Santa. Sophia and Giana watched closely on Xmas Eve.

Giana thinks her 16 year old cousin is her BFF. As you can see, Katie has no privacy when she comes to visit. :)

Hitting the Slopes

Dominic and I enjoy skiing so we were hoping Giana (and eventually Dominic) would enjoy it, too. Dominic bought Giana new ski's several months ago and she couldn't wait for the first snow fall. We've taken her skiing several times this winter and she loves it. Quite the little pro. She quickly learned the sport and has no fear of the speed. She and Dominic love to watch it on TV, too. She told me the other day that she "wants to learn how to do a double switch misty." A what? Apparently, I need to watch with them. I don't think she'll be doing a double switch misty any time soon.
