Disney Trip 2011

Dominic had a General Manager's conference in Orlando so we decided to turn it into a Disney vacation. While we missed baby Dominic, we enjoyed spending the time with Giana. We had a fun week swimming, visiting downtown Disney and going to Magic Kingdom. It was a week of "firsts" for G...first boat ride, first cab ride, first coach bus ride, first Disney trip. This was my first trip to Disney, too and it was magical. Giana loved meeting all the Disney characters. Ariel was her favorite. I asked Giana who the prince was standing with Ariel. She replied "I don't know. Just some guy she lives with." Should we be concerned about that? :) Dominic and I enjoyed seeing the joy and excitement in Giana's eyes. The weather was a little chilly so next time I think we'll go in the spring or fall...and take Dominic with us!

Dominic - 5 Months Old

Time. Stop. Now. My baby is growing up too fast. Dominic is the happiest baby and has brought us such joy. He has mastered rolling from his back to his belly and then screams until someone rescues him. He rarely cries and laughs out loud. I love it. He's discovered his voice and still loves his hands. He's reaching for everything now. Still not sleeping through the night...we are up 2-3 times. He was doing better a couple months ago. We've tried to give him cereal but he's just not ready. I cherish the time at night, when the house is quiet and I have him one on one. These moments will soon be gone and I want to hold him as long as possible. He has captured my heart. I love, love, love my baby boy.

I Love Valentine's Day!

...so I just had to change my blog to this really obnoxious Valentine's page. I love it! Oh...and I love my hubby, too. His birthday was yesterday and his lovely gift was two sick kids and a sick wife. Such is life. So happy birthday, Dominic and happy new year! 2011 is going to be a great year!

Tis the Season...

...for colds and flu. I've never been so sick of being sick. Colds and flu keep rearing their ugly heads around our house. Which is why I haven't updated my blog for weeks. I'm still sick so I'll spare my readers all the details and sum it up like this. We had a wonderful Christmas and it was magical to see it through Giana's eyes. It was Dominic's first Christmas and my baby is just so precious. Here are just a few pictures.

Giana's Christmas play at school. The cutest snowman EVER!
