Spring has Sprung?

It was 60 degrees and sunny today so we just had to break out the scooter and go for a ride! We've had so much snow and I almost hate to post this so not to jinx us but I'm hoping this is the beginning of spring. We really need some warm weather and sunshine! Please disregard the snow in the picture. It almost makes it look like I'm lying about the weather but it really was a beautiful day!

Life is better these days...

I'm almost 17 weeks along with my pregnancy and I have to say that the first 15 weeks were terrible. I was so sick and so tired. I just thought my life would never return to "normal." But it has. I woke up a couple of weeks ago and I feel great now. Thank goodness! I'm not really sure how women handle being sick for 9 months. I just kept my eye on the prize and I was able to keep going...as if I had a choice. Ha! We just found that our 20 week ultra sound is on March 23rd and I can't wait to find out the baby's sex. The countdown is on and I'm beside myself with excitement. We don't care what the sex is but I NEED to know. I'm a big planner and have to be organized. Some (Dominic) might call me a control freak but really I'm not. He's very excited to find out the sex, too. Stay tuned for a future update and pictures of the baby...and maybe my baby belly, too. One thing you won't know is the name, though! (This is driving my mom and sister crazy!) Honestly, we don't have any names picked out yet. We're so far apart on agreeing that we've decided to wait until we know the sex. Just makes sense at this point. For the record, whatever the sex, my name choice will win. (Shhhh...don't tell Dominic!)

G's First Dental Appointment

Giana had her first dental appointment a few days ago. I wasn't quite sure how the appointment was going to turn out. I took her with me a few months ago when I had my teeth cleaned but you just never know how things will go down when it's "their turn." But she was great and so are her teeth!

Waiting patiently to be called back for her appointment.

Helping hold the tools. She told the hygienist that her light was "awfully bright." She just speaks what's on her mind. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. She must get that from Dominic.

Quiet and still while Dr. Gus checked her teeth.

All done! She was so happy to get a purple toothbrush and a toy from the treasure chest. It was a horn and I couldn't even get mad when she was blowing it in my ear on the way home.
