First Day of Preschool
It was a very fun first day of preschool for Giana on 1/6. Dominic and I decided to put her in a local church program one day a week for the rest of the year. She loves it! So glad we enrolled her. She will be going to Pre-K at this same church beginning in the fall so this is a good introduction for her. A little sad for me but I'm thrilled that she is learning and having fun.

Happy Birthday, Dominic!
Dominic turned 37 on January 2nd and I try so hard every year to make it a special day. (He could care less :) It's difficult because it's so close to Christmas and New Years and everyone is partied out. This year was tough but we went out to lunch and celebrated with a piece of ice cream cake. YUM!
Happy Birthday, Dominic. We love you!

Ice Skating!
Giana couldn't wait to get out on the ice rink. My niece took her ice skating for the first time and she loved it! Look at those little ice skates....so darn cute! There were lots of fun activities while Katie was in town...ice skating, Wii (or "weed" as Giana refers to it), Rockband, fingernail painting...what could be better? Life is good when K is in town but all good things must come to an end. Katie went home but we'll see her again soon along with my other niece and nephew. Giana is already talking about Sophia, Luke and Katie's next visit!
Christmas 2009
Christmas was so much fun this year. Santa came to Dominic's parents and he left a several fun toys for Giana, including the purple yo-yo. The yo-yo was pink with some purple on it and Giana pointed that out. What three year old would notice that, really? It was nice to spend time with family and friends and we are thankful for the gifts of family and good health.
Happy New Year!
